Hello! My name is Tony Ganther II, but some know me as “Donn.” I am the founder and CEO of ByDonn.Co, a multi-creative studio birthed from the Lord to serve, transform, and impact lives through creativity.
My passion for barbering and media began when I was a child. From elementary through middle school, I loved recording and editing videos to upload on YouTube. The transformation that occurs in the barber chair and the creativity that happens behind the scenes (BTS) are things I’ve always been drawn to. In 2023, I received my first pair of clippers and began practicing. While cutting hair for the underserved at the Homeless Alliance shelter, I experienced the very calling I had felt as a child. What started as a way to express myself and establish streams of income has grown into a mission to connect, inspire, mentor, and equip others especially young men to pursue their purpose with excellence and faith.
At ByDonnCo, every haircut, photoshoot, and video isn’t just about the craft or the money; it’s about leaving a lasting impression, telling a story, and creating experiences that uplift and empower.
Educational Endeavors
Alongside my creative journey, I’m intentionally pursuing education and experiences that allow me to serve others with excellence. I am currently completing my Finance degree at Western Governors University, equipping myself with the knowledge and skills to one day provide financial guidance and help others develop business plans that set them up for long-term success.
While I have yet to complete my barber license, I plan to return to barber school to further refine my craft and gain the credentials necessary to teach and mentor aspiring stylists. My experience in photography and videography, from recording and editing videos as a child to producing professional content today it allows me to capture transformations and stories that inspire and resonate.
Beyond formal education and hands-on practice, I have been building ByDonn.Co as a platform to combine faith, creativity, and entrepreneurship. Every project, milestone, and learning experience is a step toward His mission: to connect, mentor, and uplift others while providing top-tier creative services and equipping the next generation with the skills and knowledge to thrive.
Vision for the Future
Looking ahead, my vision for ByDonnCo is to build a team of passionate, talented individuals, especially young adults whom we can pour into, mentor, and equip with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to pursue their purpose with excellence and faith. Our team is designed to grow, giving individuals opportunities to advance through internal promotions as they develop their skills and leadership.
Together, we will provide top-tier barbering, photography, and videography services while teaching practical life skills, financial literacy, and business development, empowering the next generation to build sustainable careers and businesses. A core part of this vision is instilling the principles of faithful stewardship, helping young adults understand that everything they have is from the Lord and how to honor Him through giving Him their first of everything.
Beyond our creative work, ByDonnCo will serve as a platform for mission trip initiatives, using our talents and resources to do the Lord’s work locally and abroad. Every haircut, photoshoot, mentorship session, and outreach effort will be an opportunity to inspire, uplift, and transform lives, combining artistry, entrepreneurship, and faith-driven service. My ultimate goal is to create a space where creativity, mentorship, and purpose intersect; helping individuals grow personally, professionally, and spiritually.
